Why we exist
Every traveler planning a big trip hits the same problem: dozens of tabs open, generic listicles from sites that clearly haven’t been there, price comparisons that don’t factor in what actually matters to a family with kids or a couple booking their first international trip. Booking sites optimize for their commissions, not your trip.
WorldVacays exists to solve one question: for the trip you’re planning, what should you buy, book, and experience?
What WorldVacays is
- Buying guides for the luggage, tech, adapters, cameras, and gear that actually matter for international travel
- Destination hubs with hand-researched trip-planning content covering where to stay, what to book, what to pack
- Experience curation — tours, attractions, day trips, food experiences worth the money at each destination
- Essential services — eSIMs, travel insurance, airport transfers, curated for the trip you’re actually taking
What we’re not
- Not a travel agent. We don’t book flights, hotels, or tours. We don’t hold your money.
- Not a booking engine. We plan to link to established booking and retail platforms (like Booking.com, GetYourGuide, and Amazon) once our affiliate applications are approved.
- Not a review farm. We don’t claim to test products we haven’t. Our picks are curated from research, real reviews, and specifications.
- Not commission-driven in what we recommend. We choose based on fit and quality, not payout size.
What we believe
Honest curation over listicle spam
We publish fewer buying guides, but each one takes hours of research. We’d rather write 20 guides that help than 200 that don’t.
Practical context, always
Every guide considers visa nuances, dietary preferences, family travel with kids or elderly parents, currency, and the practical concerns most international sites skip.
Trust before conversion
We disclose affiliate relationships openly. We don’t fabricate testing. We don’t accept sponsored placements. Reputation compounds; commissions don’t.
Who runs WorldVacays
WorldVacays is founded and run by Nikhil Agarwal, based in India. There’s a real person behind every recommendation, itinerary and destination guide on this site — not an AI content pipeline or a team of ghost writers. The site was built on the premise that trip planning shouldn’t require piecing together twenty forum threads, a hundred listicles and a handful of contradicting reviews. If you’re getting on a plane, you should be able to spend that research time actually looking forward to the trip.
Our editorial standards
These commitments apply to every page on WorldVacays — destination guides, buying recommendations, itinerary picks and hotel shortlists.
- Recommendations are chosen on merit, not on payment. Nothing is featured because a brand paid to appear
- Commercial relationships are disclosed on the page where they appear — we don’t hide affiliate or sponsored relationships in the fine print
- A hosted stay never guarantees a positive review. If we accept a hosted experience in the future, coverage remains honest and is labelled
- We don’t fabricate personal experience. Where a recommendation is based on research rather than a first-hand visit, we say so
- Editorial voice stays independent. Partners can share information; we write the content
How we choose what to recommend
Every recommendation on WorldVacays — whether a hotel neighbourhood, a Klook experience, a piece of travel gear or a booking platform — goes through the same filter: does it help a real traveller plan a better trip? Picks come from a combination of primary research, verified customer reviews, expert reviews, specifications, and the practical realities of travelling with family, budget or time constraints. If we can’t confidently recommend a category yet, we mark it “coming soon” rather than fill the space with generic filler.
How we make money
1. Affiliate commissions
Once our affiliate applications are approved, when you click a link to a hotel, tour, product, or service and book/buy through it, the platform may pay us a small commission. You pay the same price either way. This is how we plan to cover hosting, writing time, and keep content free.

2. Custom itinerary planning (secondary)
For travelers who want a done-for-you day-by-day itinerary instead of doing the research themselves, we offer a paid trip-planning service from ₹2,000. Best for honeymoons, family trips with kids or elderly parents, and complex multi-destination routes.
We do not accept payment from hotels, airlines, or tour operators to promote them. We do not publish sponsored content.
Partnerships
